James Marty Waldrop, age 61

James Marty Waldrop, age 61, born March 28, 1959 to the late James and Anna Waldrop in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He is survived by the love of his life of 31 years, Shelia Waldrop, 3 children, Ana Bazar (Daniel) of Greenwood, AR, Tracie Ward (Kelly), and David Carr (Erica) of Columbia, South Carolina, 3 sisters, Annette Wershky (Rick) of Fort Smith, AR, Judy Combs of Fort Smith, AR and Jimmie Harris of Vian, OK, one brother, Ed Waldrop (Shelia) of Fort Smith, AR and a host of friends and family.

Marty was passionate about his family, his love for his church where he was the Pastor of Men’s Ministries. He loved motorcycles, kayaking and camping with his grandkids. His love for Jesus was evident to everyone that he met.

Family will meet at Natural State Funeral Home in Jacksonville, AR on February 9, 2021 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Services to follow at The Ridge Assembly, in Sherwood at 1:00. Memorial Contributions may be made to The Ridge Assembly, Sherwood, AR.

    My love and prayers go out to all of you. I cannot imagine the heartache that you must be feeling. But knowing that Marty is the presence of the Lord has got to give you peace and comfort and knowing that you will all be reunited one day soon. I love you all so very much!

    So sorry to hear about the passing of Marty!! He was a great guy and was always nice to me. He will be greatly missed but we will get to see him again some day. My thoughts and prayers are with u and your family.
