Janice Gayle (Pearce) Sturgill, age 69, of Austin, Arkansas passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021. She was born in Conway, Arkansas on February 24th, 1951.
She is preceded in death by her parents Devern “Dink” and Ermadean Pearce, as well as son Jimmy Joe Martin.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years Larry Sturgill; Children Lori Westbrook (Austin, AR), Jennifer Smith (Mount Wolf, PA), and Brian Sturgill (Stevensville, MD) ; Brothers Randy Pearce (NLR, AR), Rickey Pearce (Conway, AR), and Timmy Pearce (North Little Rock, AR) and Sister Debbie Ashley (Kingston, MS); As well as many other family members and friends. Special thank you to niece Tisha May for all of her help, support and love.
After 60+ years, Janice was overjoyed to discover that she had a little sister named Debbie!!! They were
fortunate to develop a strong, loving, sisterly relationship in such a short period of time.
The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Arkansans Assisting Homeless Animals (AAHA) or to your local, no-kill, animal shelter.

Lori, your mother was always so kind to us kids. She was always glad to see us and one of the few parents that actually got to know each of us. She had a huge heart and I am glad that I had the chance to know her.
One good hearted woman love her family and friends. I would not have known my son Jimmy Joe if it had not been for Jan Larry Lori and Patty. I got the memories but would give them all up to hear her look and say Hey yall all is good. I now with Jimmy,my raccoons Erma and JESUS love you all and I love 💘 each and all. Butch and Patty
