Carol Ann McCalister, age 66

Carol Ann McCalister, age 66 years, of Ward, Arkansas went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the home of her daughter, Rachael Quinn, in Lonoke Arkansas. There will be no funeral service, but the family will have a private memorial at a later date.

She was born on December 11, 1954 in Pawnee Oklahoma to Naomi Ruth Robinson (Hewitt) and Warren G Robinson. Carol enjoyed crafting and was learning how to create leather accessories.  She loved the Chicago Cubs and the Greenbay Packers.  She enjoyed going to the movies and spending time with her family.

Carol leaves behind 3 sisters, Mary Patterson, Barbara Scott and Rita Robinson.  She had 3 children who loved her very much, David Carter McCalister (Dolores) of Charleston, South Carolina, Rachael Ann Quinn ( Eddie) of Lonoke, Arkansas and Benjamin Warren McCalister (Mary) of Cabot, Arkansas; grandchildren Taylor Marshall, Stanley McCalister and Presley McCalister. She was preceeded in death by a daughter, Nancy Jean McCalister.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ward Arkansas.

    She always had such a cheerful laugh. Hadn’t seen her in a long time but can still remember that laugh!

    Carol was one of those people that made everyone around her happy, she always had a great outlook on life and was always so sweet and kind. That laugh was classic…I always loved her laugh, when she laughed everyone around her laughed even if they didn’t know what was funny. As a young girl I strived to be like Carol…always happy, smiling and laughing.

    Loved this dear cousin and always looked forward to trips to Grandma’s house in Oklahoma to play with my cousins when we were all so young. Condolences to her family.
