Polly was my friend in school at Searcy through all 12 grades. Everything about her was real and honest. She was a true friend. I especially enjoyed seeing her at class reunions and then staying in touch by text and phone calls. She had a great sense of humor and saw the humor in just about everything. Her sons and their families were what Polly loved and cherished most. She was so proud of everything they individually accomplished. And I know she was treasured by them in return. Polly was a very good person and I loved that she was my friend. Rest in God’s arms.

It was my absolute pleasure to be Polly’s caregiver and friend for nearly 3 years, she always told me,” I’m the boss of you” all in fun, and kept me on my toes. She was a real character, love and miss her so much.

Your mom was such a dear, dear friend. So many great memories! Lots and lots of laughs, some tears. She was a remarkable person. I loved her like family and will miss her like crazy. Wearing a bracelet she gave me one time, engraved “Friends Forever” and we are! My heart is heavy. Praying for you and your families.

Polly was my special friend, We first met when I moved to Searcy during our sixth-grade year and became instant friends. I loved her keen sense of humor and the warm, honest person she was. She loved her family fiercely and her friends the same. The world won’t be the same without sweet Polly. She is missed already. Thank you, Polly, for the love and friendship you gave to me and Lisa. We will both always love you.

Andy and Brad, so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was a great friend to mine. I enjoyed keeping up with the Wests through the years and always loved her great sense of humor. She was so sweet and supportive–I remember she sent both my mother and me lovely corsages for my graduation. How thoughtful was that?! She was a light that will definitely be missed by all those that considered her family. You are all in my heart and thoughts.

  • Carol Jim & Edd Hoyt Family Posted March 8, 2021 10:42 AM

Dear Andy and Brad, may God Bless you and your families at this most difficult time in your lives. Never easy to say “Good By” no matter what the age. Your mother Polly was indeed a person we will always remember, who always had nothing but good things to say about someone. The Hoyt’s will always remember the wonderful times we shared with your family down through the years always talking about what else–our families. Polly is now at her eternal home, may her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed “Rest in Peace”..
