Kenneth (Ken) Jay Baker Sr. was born October 23, 1969 in Morenci, Michigan to Mary Baker and Lee Opdycke. He passed from this world on March 22, 2021. Ken is survived by his wife of 32 years
Tamy Baker (Sipes) his mother Mary Baker and brother Bobby (Annie) Opdycke of Oklahoma, his son Jay (Jessica) Baker of Cabot and daughter Nickole Baker of Jacksonville, and 4 Grandchildren.
Ken spent the past 18 years as a journeyman electrician with Taylor Electric in Jacksonville. Ken took care of everyone equally But was often referred to as the “Ornery Redneck”. Ken was not known for being politically correct and loved “stirring the pot”.
Ken enjoyed Deer hunting with Tamy, cooking out with family and just spending time with friends. He will be remembered as a hardworking, loving husband and a great friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In light of the current health concerns, Ken’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all guests in attendance will be required to wear masks/facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place.
Ken’s celebration of life service will be on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 10:00am at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville.
