Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Letha Jane Mongno, age 58

Letha Jane Mongno, 58, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away March 29, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born to parents Lester Richard Wood and Leonena Misenheimer October 1962 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Letha will be dearly missed by her husband of 30 years Anthony Thomas Mongno, her three children Lacy Hodge (Matthew), Mariah Gohlke (Brian), and Anthony Mongno (Brianna) and grandchildren Brianna, Hunter, Payton, and Warren and many relatives and friends. Her parents preceded her in death.

It would be wrong to say that Letha lost her battle with cancer because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined to stay positive.  When anyone else would have broken, she stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. Letha was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. She had a vibrant personality and always made friends everywhere she went and her customers at Honest Abe’s Pawn loved her as well.

A private ceremony will be held for immediate family and close friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400

She was a happy snd strong personality, who never met a stranger. She made those she talked to happy for the encounter. She cherished her husband and children, and grandchildren. She is and will be greatly missed. Her family is her legacy.
