Angie was a friendly & sweet person. I watched her & siblings grow up. Her parents taught them by example to love & worship God.

Hi, my name is Lynn Godfrey. I am Angela’s youngest sister. I miss her so much. I was going to call her that following Saturday. Her Ex Husband Billy Dedman came over that morning and told. me she was gone. My sister and me were mad at each other. We argued. I was going to call her and tell her I was sorry and that I loved her. I never got the chance to. I hope she knows that I am sorry.

Lobed seeing how Angela loved God and church.
The renewing of the spirit of God in true worship and praise even tho weak in body will be in my memories of her . She was a church the last week of her life.. She loved her family and church family.

The last time Sis. Angie was at church, she sat close to me, across the aisle. I was so glad to see her and went and hugged her telling how good it was to see her. Such a sweet lady. I’m so glad I have that last memory.

Angela and I grew up together. She and I would chew gum like no tomorrow. And she was always wonderful to be around.

I remember when Bro. and Sis. Godfrey first started attending FPC. We were having service at the children’s home cafeteria because the church had burned. Angie was just a little toddler. She was very active and kept her parents busy chasing after her. She was the cutest little thing! I had the pleasure of watching her grow into a lovely young lady. She was always friendly to me and had a smile. I will always remember her and her family with fondness.

I remember Angela with a smile. I was remarking to my mom the other day my memories of her worshipping and praising God at FPC. No more pain, no more tears, no more heartache. Forever at rest in the arms of our Savior. RIP Angela. Love and prayers for those here that will miss you so much.

As a young child, I remember sitting behind Angela in church and admiring her long, thick, wavy hair. She’s always had a beautiful smile. I will miss her and keep her family in my prayers.💕🙏🏻

I first remember Angela as a small school girl at Buckeye Christian School when I was the school principal. All of the Godfrey children had such healthy looking hair and skin and came to school each morning looking scrubbed and sparkling clean. Angela grew up in the church and was always respectful, friendly, and cheerful. My most vivid memory of Angela was her last trip to service on April 26th. I didn’t realize she had had some mini strokes and would be in a wheelchair, but she was still happy and glad to see everyone. She told me the good report of how she had just been let out of the hospital and one of her friends didn’t want her to stay by herself so she was staying with them. After the service, she told me of how God had blessed her with a new car and sat and talked as Brother Jeff Ruby brought it up to the drive-thru. She pulled out of the parking lot with a smile, none of us realizing that would be her last service.

I remember Angela beautiful long hair and those gorgeous dimples. She was so sweet. I grew up with Angela and she came home with me to spend the night. Recently I had the chance to spend some time with her. t her . We laughed and had a good time. She said I will be your best friend. That made me feel special. I loved her. I will miss her sense of humor and her giggle.
