Stephen Frank McElroy, 68, of Jacksonville, died of Covid on April 30, 2021. Steve was born to the late Frank and Jessie Waller McElroy on August 31, 1952. Steve retired from Pathfinders after 20 years of service.
He is survived by Elizabeth Easter McElroy, his wife of 39 years; his children, Tammi Mason (Philip), Dawn Hammett, Stephanie Siegfried-Carter (Jimmy), and Chloe McElroy; grandchildren, Shawn, Zach, Amber, Aspyn, and Emele; great grandchildren, Jeramiah, and Noah; and two sisters, Sue Collins and Pam Hicks.
Steve enjoyed fishing, collecting antiques, reading, and pranking and joking with everyone. His greatest love and passion was spending time with his family. He was a special person that will be missed by everyone that knew him.
Steve’s visitation will be at A Natural State Funeral Service from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, on Tuesday May 11, 2021. Graveside Celebration of Life will be on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 2:00pm at Rest Hills Cemetery located in Sherwood, AR.
