Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Robert Cole McCrery JR, 45

Robert Cole McCrery JR, 45, of Benton, Arkansas passed away from this life on May 28, 2021. He was born in Forrest City, Arkansas on July 19, 1975 to Robert and Linda (Walker) McCrery.

Robert is preceded in death by his grandparents Tillman Walker, Lois Thacker, and AB and Joy McCrery and a very special childhood friend Laura Gammage.

He is survived by Parents Robert and Linda McCrery; his sister Heather McCrery; his nephews Cole Ferguson and Wyatt Ferguson; the love of his life Brittany Oneal; and a host of extended family and friends.

Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf. He was a former JR state Golf champion. He loved spending time with his nephews, family, and friends. He will be missed by all that knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society; but we would prefer you to invest your time in the next generation as Rob loved children. He was never able to have any of his own, so he devoted his kindness and love to his friend’s children and his nephews.

A family hosted service will be held at Moro Baptist Church in Moro, Arkansas on Friday June 4, 2021 at 2:00pm. Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.

We send all our love & prayers to you, Bob and family. It’s to hard to express our deepest thoughts of Rob’s passing. It’s been a lot of years since our kids started their young lives playing & being school mates, how the years fly. A lot of wonderful memories. Much love to two great parents, Rob was lucky to have such a loving family to love & support him. May he Rest In Peace .

I was so fortunate to get to spend time with Rob when he would come over to visit with Laura. I can still remember the trip we made to Fayetteville to bring Laura’s possessions back to Cabot prior to our move. We had a wonderful trip. Thank you for sharing your son with me & my family! He may be gone from this earth, but he will never be forgotten. I pray you will feel God’s peace & love as you go through the coming days. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you!
