How do I start about someone who is an angel here on Earth as well as in heaven. She was a remarkable, classy, loving person I could go on and on with many adjectives left.I considered her a very close friend. Barbara always made you feel at ease no matter how you felt. I will greatly miss our talks on the phone. I love you so much Barbara.

Mickey & Family: We are saddened by your loss. Barbara certainly came from a great Christian family heritage and she certainly added her own talents of service to that, always with that gentle spirit and quiet smile. Our prayers are for your peace during this difficult time.

How do I describe my love for Barbara. We are the same age and cousins. Loved spending time with her when on vacations to Strawberry. She is one of the sweetest Christian people I’ve ever known. Always had good times with Barb. My heart is broken for all her family and will keep all in my prayers. Heaven is richer today. Miss you, Barb..

I love Mrs. McSpadden. I started Southside the first year it opened, I was in 1st grade. She always was so sweet and I always gave her a hug. Her smile was infectious. My kids also went to Southside and what a joy it was walking in to see Mrs. McSpadden as a mom, I always knew they were in good hands as long as she was in the office. She will be missed and she was so loved by so many. My deepest sympathy.

Knowing Barbara means you were blessed by her kindness, helpfulness, and generosity. She brightened every room she entered. The staff, students, and parents of Southside Elementary in Cabot thought she hung the moon. If people had her caring spirit the world would have fewer problems. She was a dear friend and I miss.her.

Barbara was a most caring person even when facing open heart surgery she was still asking
about how others were doing. She made working at Southside a great joy. Her faith in God was always first in her life. She brought so much joy to others and always had time to talk if you needed a friend. She was also full of pranks, which was a delight
and made school fun for the teachers. What a legacy she leaves her family. I will miss talking to her. She was a great inspiration to me. She was truly loved by all who knew her.

There are no words to convey my heartache for you, Mickey and kids. Remember how blessed we have all been to have had this angel on earth caring for all of us__especially her family. She’s still watching over you. What a fun, loving, giving spirit! My kids and I have so many memories from Southside and the great Halloweens! Barbara was an absolute blessing to all. She will be missed and remembered by so many more than her loving family. God bless
