Larry Dale Woods, age 71, of Ward, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Monday, July 12, 2021. He was born on June 29, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Lawrence Woods and Doris Rutherford Woods.
He loved football, especially watching Oklahoma and Arkansas on tv. Larry also enjoyed working in his yard, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a faithful member of Union Valley Baptist Church in Beebe, Arkansas.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Doris Woods; and grandparents Alva and Cathy Rutherford.
He will be missed by his wife of forty-five years, Sharon Woods; children Shawn Woods (Casey), and Shannon Woods; grandchildren Bryson Reece Woods, Keegan Lawrence Woods, Clara Grace Woods, Colbie Faith Woods, and Barret Royce Howard; siblings Diana Rutherford Hafner, and Michael Woods; and many more family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Union Valley Baptist Church, 932 Hwy 64 W, Beebe, AR 72012, on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
