Melissa Ann Burris, 55

Melissa Ann Burris, 55, passed away July 1, 2021. She was born July 4, 1965 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Don Lambert and Connie Fisher.

Melissa love spending time with her grandbabies and family. She enjoyed collecting her family heirlooms. Melissa spent her time camping, floating the river and being outside.

Melissa is preceded in death by her parents Don and Connie Lambert and brother Don Lambert JR.

Melissa is survived by her son Shane Burris (Sierra); grandchildren Alexander Burris and Hayden Burris; and siblings Steven Lambert, William Bryant, and Donna Frazier.

Melissa’s Celebration of Life will be July 7, 2021 at 2pm at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville.

    Oh woman not enough space to tell you this. We have been friends for than 50 years. You were part of my foundation. I love you with everything in me. We fought, we laughed, we cried our eyes out but we were there every time you could be. Woman a piece of my heart died right with you. I Thank You for being my bestie . My sister and my soul.     Melissa was the sweetest person ever. I haven’t seen her in years but still felt a connection through social media. She will be missed. Prayers for her family.

    Missy is such a kind and genuine person. You couldn’t find a better friend. We grew up together and recently got to visit with hex. I was so dad to hear of herc passing! May God give the family comfort during this difficult time!
