Tommy Ray Cagle, age 74

Tommy Ray Cagle, 74, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away July 8, 2021. He was born in Coy, Arkansas on March 26, 1947.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Corbin Cagle and Lorene (St John) Cagle; his daughters Tonya Cagle and Alyson Cagle; and his brother Bobby Cagle; and mother-in-law Inez Strayhorn.

He is survived by his wife Charlotta Cagle; his children Alan Strayhorn (Paula), Braylen Cagle, Lilli Cagle, Jeff Gibson (Tonya);his siblings Barbara Cagle, Bonnie Cagle, Mary Cagle and Kay Cagle; his “adopted son” Tom Summerville; and his father-in-law Joe Strayhorn.

Tommy served in the US Army .He loved singing, writing music, playing music and spending time with his family and close friends. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Tommy’s celebration of his life service will be July 10, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Old Austin Baptist Church 50 Old 38 N Austin, Arkansas. In Lieu of flowers memorials in his honor may be made to the Museum of Veterans & Military History 53 N. Mt Olive Vilonia, Arkansas 72173.

    He never met a stranger. He will be missed by many. He fought a hard battle and always had a positive attitude. He IS resting peace.. Prayers for comfort for family and friends.

    I worked with Tom and we always loved when he came and sung and played the guitar when he worked for Pathfinders, We will miss you Tom Rip

    Tommy r cagle will be missed at Pathfinder inc, and his music that he played for us on saturday nights at our workshop. We are so sorry for your loss of your love one. God bless u, and my prayers are with all of you. Take care..
