Holly grew up in Jacksonville, Arkansas, JHS Class of ’86, with her brother Joe King of Austin, Arkansas. She married the love of her life Charles Glassing on July 30, 1988.  She cherished her two beautiful children, Alex and Shelby Glassing. Holly’s smile would light up the room, and her laughter was contagious. She never met a stranger, and throughout their moves from Arkansas, Texas, California and back to Arkansas she made many friends and touched so many lives.  Holly loved to read and study the bible, sew, quilt, and a plethora of other crafts.  One of her favorite bible verses was Romans 15:13 “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” She was a Proverbs 31 wife and mother.

Our family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses, doctors, and host of healthcare professionals at Baptist Springhill ICU.  Each of you have been a blessing and your ministry of care has touched our lives forever. To all her many friends, remember her smile and laughter, but most of all her love for God and her family.

One more note, Charlie, Alex, Shelby and Joe would like to express an extra special thanks to Lisa Conrade for all her support and help throughout this incredibly tough time in our lives.  You were awesome!!

A celebration of Holly’s life will be Saturday, August 28th 1:30-3:30 in the “Overlook” at Cypress Creek Golf course 34 Cypress Creek Crossing, Cabot, AR 72023

Pastor Dave will speak followed by a slide show and we will have plenty of food, including one of Holly’s favorites pulled pork.

I remember Holly as always smiling! She was also always offering to help rather it be helping at the events she was at or helping in the kitchen! I remember her also being a great wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend! She will be missed by many! I regret not staying in touch as often as I should have over the years even though I did keep up through you, Joe! My heart hurts for you, Charlie and the kids!!! Love you like a brother!! Prayers to All!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Holly was an amazing friend who we met through our common love of quilting. She would come to our shop just to visit. Many times she was accompanied by Charlie and her kids. She loved the Lord, her family and friends. Our prayers are with her family.

Charlie and kids… I always admired the love of your family. This truly saddens me but I know God has plans for each of you. Holly was never without that beautiful smile that touched so many. May Jesus comfort you in your sorrow. You will all be in my orayers…..
