Jack B Shamhart Jr., age 63, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021. He was born on September 27, 1957 in Logan, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jack Burns Sr. and Jean Pauline Shamhart.
Jack is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Julie Shamhart; children Christopher Joseph Shamhart (Amie), and Janna Michelle Bowman; brother Richard Charles Shamhart; grandchildren Tiffany Smith, Kipperlie Davis, Hunter Davis, Madyson Bowman, Boston Davis, Casey Shamhart, Troy Shamhart, and CJ Shamhart; and nephew Adam Clay.
Jack was employed at FedEx Freight as a road driver. He was also an excellent carpenter. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix or create. He loved being of service to others and his family.
He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He loved teaching all the grandkids how to hunt and fish and was proud of every one of their accomplishments.
Visitation will be held at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, AR 72076, on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2:00 – 4:00 PM.

I met Jack 8 years ago I never would have figured that me and Jack would have hit it off . He became a part of my family and one of my best friends in life. Jack was one of a kind . He’s definitely going to be missed I don’t know how I’m going to get thru hunting season but I know he would want me to continue hunting so I am. R.I.P. buddy

Jack was a joy to work with. I loved listening to him tell hunting and fishing stories when he came in from his run on Saturdays. He always brought me deer meet for chili every year.

Sorry to hear about Jack passing. Worked with him for several years at Fedex Freight. Always enjoyed visiting with him. I know he loved his family and the outdoors and will be missed.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences for the family and friends of Jack. I worked with him and mostly just passed one another coming and going, we spoke occasionally about his weekend trips up north and projects. Jack will be missed by many. Prayers for his family. May he rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss of MR.Jack we meet him a couple years ago when we moved across from deer camp. He came over a graded our drive just because it needed it. Very nice man. We already have missed him because he kept that place clean and mowed. RIP Mr.Jack
I know the loss is hard on anyone that knew Jack. I already can’t wait to see him again (acts 24:15). I know one thing I want to learn from Jack in paradise is how to actually catch fish when I go fishing.

So sorry for your loss. Jack was a Great guy. I worked with him at Fed-Ex as a roaddriver and we road together my 1st week there. We talked a lot about fishing and hunting. Super nice guy he will be missed.
