Joe Alice Staley, 72, of Austin, Arkansas passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018. She was born on July 13, 1946 in Holland, Missouri to the late Oscar Allan Hanner and Ola Mae Weldon-Henderson.
She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a beautician by trade and enjoyed spending time with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Calvin Staley, a brother, Ralph “Slugger” Hanner.
Joe Alice is survived by her children James “Jimbo” Staley (Meagan) and John Staley (Mandy); step-daughter Debbie Staley-Heblin (Jim), step-daughter Dallas Staley, and step-daughter Karen Staley-Grardino (Ralph). She also leaves grandchildren Joline Mathis (JD), James “JJ” Staley (Brittney) Staley, Jacqueline Staley (Kyle), Brianna, Aleigha, and Kinley Jo Staley, and soon to be great-grandchild Beau Joesph. Siblings William “Butch” Hanner (Dorothy), Hazel Thomas and Linda Britton, a dear sister-in-law Martha Hill and many loved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.
