Steven Ray Sanden, age 57

Steven Ray Sanden, 57 of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed from this life on July 8, 2019. He was born in Van Nuys, California on November 6, 1961 to the late Ronald and Rita Sanden. Steven served proudly in the United States Army, enjoyed building things, playing games but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Laura Sanden; children William Craton (Denise), Aaron Craton (Joann), Jennifer Nieves (Harry); six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings Gary Sanden (Susan), Bobby Sanden (Kathy), Dennis Sanden (Kim), Ronnie Sanden (Lisa), Leslie Shanklin (Carol); stepmother Gwen Sanden; mother-in-law Alberta Manning and a host of other family and friends. Steve is also preceded in death by his father-in-law Stanley Manning and sister-in-law Trisha Manning.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church in Cabot, Arkansas.

Arrangements have been entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.  501-982-3400.

    Steve had a big smile and it was bright as a full moon. Kind and loving. He will be missed but never forgotten. Laura big hug and lots of prayers.

    Laura I’m so sorry for your loss. Steve was a great guy. Always smiling, and making everyone not only smile but laugh. I will never forget all the talks he use to have with my kiddo. He always took the time to help. The world lost a good man, but HEAVEN has gained an amazing ANGEL. Praying for peace, comfort, and understanding during this time for you Laura and your family. ❤
