Wilbur Lee (W.L.) Yates, 76, of Cabot passed away on September 3, 2019. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on June 7, 1943 to the late James M. and Polly Ann Yates.
He loved to spend time with his family and friends; he loved to garden, work with computers, work with wood and loved just being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by Richard Yates, Thomas Yates and Janet Strickland.
W.L. leaves behind his longtime friend and companion Ginger West; his children Michael T. Yates, Brandi Tilghman, Kevin Miller and Wilbur Yates, Jr.; his grandchildren Alicia Brannon, Lauren Bondhus, Myke Williams, Adam Miller, Blain Miller, Wilbur Yates III, and Anna Gail Yates; his great-grandchild Nelson Brannon; siblings James Yates and William Yates.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 7, 2019, 1:30 until 2:30 pm at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas with graveside following at 3:00 P.M. at Concord Cemetery, Hwy 89, Furlow, Arkansas.

He was such a good man! Hard to believe he’s gone. Our Prayers, thoughts and love go out to the family.
My condolences to W.L.’s family and other friends. We lost a good one. I hated not being able to attend his service as I was out of town.
