Larry Wayne Brand, 76 of Cabot, Arkansas passed from this life on December 12, 2019. He was born on June 1, 1943 in Creston, Iowa to the late Carl and Lorene Brand. Larry served in the United States Air Force where he found a great love for working on C130s. He retired in 1982 and later worked as the Maintenance Supervisor for the City of Jacksonville Parks Department. Larry enjoyed going hunting, doing carpentry projects and most of all spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Cathy Brand; children Heather Gibson, Kelly Toppin (Mike), Melinda Wagner (Brian), Lori Brand; step-mother Martha Brand; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings Jeanette Nissen (Chuck), Donna Knik (JR), Kathy Huey and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 9:30-10:30am with funeral services to begin at 10:30am at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Burial will follow with Honors at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
