Nancy Carol Armstrong Eades, 69, of Jacksonville, passed away May 20, 2020. She was born December 14, 1950 in Lincolnton, North Carolina to George Armstrong and Enid Avery.
Nancy was a devoted Mother, Grandma and Grammy. She was a member of Mt Carmel Baptist Church in Cabot, Arkansas where she enjoyed her time with her Sunday School class, the “Kingdom Seekers”.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, George and Enid Armstrong; her late husband Coyte Eades; and her brothers John Ronnie “J.C.” Armstrong and George “June” Armstrong, Jr.
Nancy leaves behind her loving children Tim Hord of Lincolnton, North Carolina, Amy Young (Bobby) of Jacksonville, Enid Eades of Jacksonville, and Joyce Martin of Hickory, North Carolina; honorary daughter Samantha Ward of Jacksonville; grandchildren Mike Honea (Niki) of Jacksonville, Nick Honea (Racheal) of Jacksonville, Ryan Gibson of North Carolina, and Trey Martin of North Carolina; nine great-grandchildren; sister Pat Staughan of Lincolnton, North Carolina; nieces Susie Hagar (Sammy) and Kim Elmore (Allan); and a plethora of family and friends to carry on and cherish her memory.
A family hosted Visitation will be held Sunday, May 31st at 2:00pm at Mt Carmel Baptist Church, 163 Mt Carmel Rd, Cabot, Arkansas. Memorial Service will follow at 3:00pm. In light of the current health concerns, Nancy’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, there will be a limit of 50 guests, all guests over age 10 must wear a face covering to attend and social distancing guidelines will be in place.

To my best friend, I will miss you but I do have lots of momeries. Some I can not share. Love to the family .

Nancy will be dearly missed by all. She was a very kind and loving person. She was always the one you could go to and easy to talk to. Loved her a lot and she was never far from my thoughts. Tim Amy and Enid you all are in my prayers.
My thoughts and prayers are with Enid and all her beloved family. My deepest condolences and may you all hold on to each other and help find peace and comfort.
