Loretta Margaret Johnson, 88, of Cabot passed away on August 23, 2020. She was born on September 12, 1931 in St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada to the late Nicholas and Mary (Sivea) McGrath.
She loved her QVC and shopping; if you knew her then you knew that she could be opinionated and set in her ways but that is what made you love her all that much more. She retired from working at the Officers Club after 30 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband Carlton Douglas Johnson and son James Douglas Johnson.
Loretta leaves behind her daughter Paula Fitch; her white labs, her everything, Jake and Rondo, her grandchildren James Carlton Fitch (Pam) and their three children, Jamie Murdock (Shawn) and their three children; Rickie Renee Burt and their two children, and Doug Johnson and his two children.
Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400

So sad to hear of Lorettas passing. It’s the end of an era for JC and his family. She was a feisty gal but she also loved her family greatly. Rest In Peace

Sad news received in her hometown of Avondale, Newfoundland today. Paula we were very sad to hear about Aunt Loretta. She is now with a lot of family members who have gone on before her. I will miss her yearly Christmas card and little notes inside. Condolences to all the family RIP ❤️
My Aunt Loretta, people have told me over the years that I looked like you, I can see it now that I am older. My dad Raymond always talked highly of you and that you were opinionated and set in your ways that is me and all my sisters. I hope they love me the way that they loved you. RIP you are with Poppy Nick, Nanny Mary (Sevier), your brothers Raymond, Uncle Joe and Aunt Mary, and of course your husband and son. Your one and only sister remains, Aunt Ann (Ghaney)…..My condolences to Paula and her family, so sorry for your loss, even more sorry for not knowing her. My sister Barbara and I always talked about going to visit her, just a little to late. As is life 🙂
My condolences to all the Johnson and McGrath family.
So glad I got to hang out with her when she would visit Newfoundland. She was a beautiful soul RIP Aunt Loretta hope you are having a tea with Dad
