Thomas “Shep” Larry Coburn, age 70, of Stuttgart passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on July 23, 1950 to the late John Everett and Effie Corinna (Harris) Coburn, Sr.
He loved to go hunting and fishing with his brothers. He loved riding his Harley motorcycle.
He is preceded in death by his brother Billy David Coburn.
Shep leaves behind his special lifelong friend Mitzi Powell; his siblings John Everett Coburn, Jr. (Linda) of McRae, Paul Hatley Coburn (Doris) of Evanston, Wyoming and Patti Coburn McIlroy (Bob) of Beebe; sister-in-law Paula Coburn; many nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
In light of the current health concerns, Shep’s family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers if you are not able to attend the service. Please be aware, as per Arkansas directives, attendance will be regulated in accordance to Arkansas guidelines, all guests in attendance will be required wear masks/facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be in place.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11 AM at Jesus Name Church of Christ, located at 1803 South Park Ave, Stuttgart, Arkansas 72160.
In lieu of flowers donations in Shep’s honor can be made to Jesus Name Church of Christ, Stuttgart, Arkansas.
Arrangements are entrusted to A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas. 501-982-3400.

Haven’t seen my friend Shep in years, I wish I would have been able to catch up to him before now.
