Paul Randal Presley, 54, of Jacksonville passed away on January 11, 2021. He was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on July 6, 1966, to the late John Oscar and Margaret Ann (Hufford) Presley.
He loved and lived for hunting, fishing and being with family and friends. He was a member of the Bear House Deer Camp in Monticello and for 30+ years he worked as an Account Representative for Sunbelt Convention Services. He was a true friend to all who knew him and would lend a hand to anyone in need.
Paul grew up in Little Rock and graduated from Parkview High School in 1984. His magnetic personality and charm cultivated friendships that lasted a lifetime. He always had the biggest heart in the room and would do anything for anyone he thought needed it. His friends and family returned that love and support without hesitation. One of his friends described him best:
“I never met a man who was a better friend to his friends; he had a lot of them and loved each and every one of them, and they loved him right back. You were truly one of the good ones, Paul. You will be missed….”
His deer camp was his little slice of Heaven here on earth and he would rather be there than anywhere else, unless it was on the river or lake in his beautiful boat.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Traci Ann Presley-Tackett and brother Fred Richard Presley.
Paul leaves behind his siblings John Mark Presley (Amy) and Michelle Kathryn Alley (Jody); his nieces and nephews Alexander Presley, Max Presley, Emma Presley, Analise Presley, and Lily Presley; God-son Ken Bowers; his cat, of 17 years, Lucy; and a host of extended friends and family.

Loved working conventions when Paul was on deck to take care of our needs via Sunbelt. He was the best! Met him in 2011 and we became instant friends. Each time we got to work together, I got a big ole hug. It’s going to be so strange not to see him the next time I’m back in an exhibit hall. I can’t imagine how those close to him are feeling. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

God’s Speed Paul.
Paul is a friend that has a big heart. He has been a friend to all. He also has a father’s heart. He would bring his Godson, Ken to deer camp, teaching him how to deer hunt, mentoring and loving him like a father. Paul, I will be looking forward to seeing you and the Lord in heaven when it’s my time to come upstairs.
Peace in the heart now that rest has come.
Peace in the mind now that suffering is over.
Peace in the soul of the loved and beloved.
May your memories give us lasting peace.
