Ronnie Ray Lute, born May 8, 1959, in Little Rock, Arkansas, Ronnie departed this earth on November 18, 2024, due to abdominal complications after a courageous battle with bladder cancer. He embraced the afterlife, joining his late wife, Julia Lute; his mother, Wilma Campbell; father, Raymond Lute; and brothers, Wesley and Mike.
At the time of his passing, Ronnie resided in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He will forever live on in the hearts of his children: Kimberly and her husband, Jay Koehler; Jeremy Lute; James Lute; and Jackie Lute. His memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren Haley, Elizabeth, and Silas and his great-grandson, Apollo. Ronnie will be deeply missed by his brother John and wife Linda, brother Joe, sister Tonya, brother Ray, and countless cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Ronnie’s life was celebrated at Burns Park in North Little Rock and he was laid to rest beside his beloved wife at Hickory Ridge Cemetery in Lavaca, Arkansas.
When we think of Ronnie, we will always remember his creative inventions and independent spirit. In his younger days, he lived wild and free, until meeting Julia. Together, they built a life and raised four children over more than two decades before her passing. Ronnie found joy in life’s simple pleasures—a home-cooked Sunday meal with iced tea, watching *The Blues Brothers*, enjoying wrestling, and listening to rock and roll.
He was fearless, strong, and fought to the very end. Ronnie Ray Lute did not give up or leave us; his body simply could no longer remain here on earth. His love and memory will live on forever.
