Juanita Dixon Trail, age 90, went to her heavenly home on September 14, 2025. She was born on April 15, 1935 in Allison, AR. to Luther and Edith Ann Dixon.
Juanita was a gifted Beautician who owned and operated her own beauty shop in Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was also a devoted homemaker, raising three children with love and care. Known for her warmth and kindness, Juanita’s gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. She loved the Lord deeply and spent countless hours reading and studying the Bible. Family and friends will always remember her faithful heart-and the coconut cream pies she baked better than anyone else.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Barber; her brothers, W.S. Dixon, Rory Coney Dixon, and Orval Leed Dixon; and her sisters, Neoma Stevens and Barbara Ann Dixon.
Juanita is survived by her daughters, Debbie Barber of Searcy, Arkansas, and Donna (Rodney) Smith of Jacksonville, Arkansas; her son, Stanley (Margarita) Barber of Fort Worth, Texas; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, William Trail; his daughter, Sherry Trail; and his son, Greg Trail.
The family would like to thank the exceptional staff at Greystone Nursing and Rehab for the compassionate and loving care they provided to Juanita in her final months.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 18, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at A Natural State Funeral Service, with Pastor Michael Luce officiating. Burial will follow at 2PM at Blue Springs Cemetery, Newark, AR.
Juanita will be remembered as a faithful, loving, and caring soul whose legacy of kindness and devotion to family and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
