David Alan Sager went to be with the LORD on May 29, 2026 at the age of 84. He was married to his wife, Sharon for 43 years. He was born to George and Mae Sager, and preceded in death by his brother, Glen. He is survived by a sister-in- law Sandy Sager, niece Kimberly Sager – Fradkin, nephew Kirk Sager.

David served in the US Navy as a Chief Petty Officer for twenty years. He said that “the service is not for everyone, but it was for him.” He also worked as a Chief Engineer on towboats on the Mississippi River for twenty years.

He belonged to VFW #2935, FRA # 282, and American Legion #7.

He also attended Bethel Baptist Church in Jacksonville, AR.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 4th at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock at 10:00am.
