Charles Edward Venus Jr., age 61, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. He was born on July 5, 1960 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his mother Bessie Marlene Venus; sister Dana Hoover; and his beloved dog Zeus.
Charles is survived by his wife of forty years Victoria Venus; children Andrea Barber (Tyler), and Sydney Venus; granddaughter Kinsley Barber; father Charles Edward Venus; sister Stacy Furr (Wayne); brother-in-law Troy Hoover; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Charles was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He loved hunting, fishing, boating, going to the Greers Ferry Lake, fireworks, and living on the farm. He loved his animals, especially dogs, who he loved to train as hunting dogs. Charles also loved spending time with his family and friends. He fought a long battle and will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, AR 72076, on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 4:00 PM followed by funeral service at 5:00PM.

Charles started out as my customer and became my friend. He had a great sense of humor and could always be seen working on something and kinda greasy. He will be greatly missed.
