Debby was a great clinician, social worker, and teacher. I had the fortunate opportunity to have her choose to be my field instructor when completing my masters degree. Debby expected only the best and wasn’t afraid to let you know when you weren’t giving 100%. I’m a better social worker and a better person because of her. I was also lucky enough to call her colleague when I accepted a position with the UAMS Myeloma Institute. I hated to see her retire and I’m heartbroken to learn of her passing.

I became acquainted with Debbie Dean when I began working at Doctors Hospital. She was not only a dynamic social worker but a dynamic person as well. My respect for her was huge. I just asked about her not long ago. My prayers and condolences to her family and her “four paws!”

Debbie was one of my dear friends in high school. As friends do,we lost contact through the yrs. It saddened me as I came across her obituary, however, as I read about her life I wasn’t surprised by her many accomplishments.and the way she helped others. She was wonderful, beautiful and will be missed greatly by her family and others who had the pleasure of knowing her.
