Steven Lynn Cates, 63, went to be with the Lord January 8, 2022. He was born March 13, 1958 to Gordon and Donna Cates.
He is preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Donna Cates; and his brother Kenny Cates.
He is survived by his wife Kristi Cates; children Boomer (Abbie) Cates, Adam (Ashley) Cates, Bojak Cates; grandchildren Roman, Scarlett, Braxton, Kaleb; siblings Terry (Katie) Cates, Joey (Julie) Cates, Danny Cates, Donna McDonald; very special friends Toby and Tonya Wilson; dogs Bella, Auggy; bird Casanova; and many other friends and family who will miss him dearly.
Steven loved crappie fishing. He enjoyed cutting grass, working outside, and taking care of his neighbors. He loved making people laugh.
A visitation will be held 1:00pm Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Ebenezer Presbyterian Cemetery in Strong, Arkansas. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00pm.
