Linda J. Doody, age 63

Linda J. Doody, 63, of Cabot passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022. She was born on July 24, 1958 in Santa Monica, California to Lloyd and Ethel Hooper.

Linda is preceded in death by her father Lloyd and her bio-mother Audrey M. Melby (Jo).

She is known for her bright smile and contagious laugh. There was never a moment she couldn’t make something a lesson or a song. Linda was loved by many from being a registered nurse to a truck driver. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do. Her greatest joy was her love for the Lord and her family.

She is survived by her mother Ethel; her best friend and husband Herbert Doody; children Latisha Hollis (Brad) of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Nicholas Rector of Lonoke, Arkansas, and Whitney Rector of Little Rock, Arkansas; her grandchildren Emily Johnson, Loren Rector, Alexandria Hollis; one great-grandchild Luna Blaze; siblings Ruth Murphy (Rudy) of Lonoke, Arkansas, Dawn Lawrence (Andy) of Nunn, Colorado, and Mark Phillips (Forrest) of Henderson, Colorado; and a host of others that called her Nina.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring/summer. Date to be announced later.
