Saundra Gayle ‘Sandy’ Nelson Archer, 79, was born on May 24, 1942, and went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2022. Sandy was born in San Diego, CA, to Roy Alvar Nelson & Vivian Lucille Register.
Sandy was married for almost 62 years to her loving husband, S.C. Archer, and she had 3 sons: James Franklin Archer, Martin Lee Archer (Carrie), and Kelly Roy Archer (Johnnie). Sandy had 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and she loved and cared for them all (almost as much as they loved her).
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Baptist Hospital in LR, the Evergreen Living Center in Bryant, and Baptist Hospice.
Family visitation and a celebration of Sandy’s life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 2:00pm, at Hebron Baptist Church in Little Rock.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, TN.
