Michael Dean Montgomery was born August 5, 1955, and transitioned to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 16, 2022. He was the son of Lillie Beatrice Adams (Coleman) and Floyd Montgomery, both of whom preceded him in death. Mike D. served in the U.S. Army where he was known for his outstanding skills as a chef and basketball player. He was honorably discharged after years of service. He was also a graduate of Draughn’s Business College after receiving his diploma from Wilbur D. Mills High School.
Michael’s maternal grandmother, Willie Easter (Pennington-Adams) Finch also preceded him in death, but he leaves to cherish his loving and fun-filled memories of him: Brothers – Tony M. (Brenda) Adams and Timothy A. (Irene) Adams; Sisters Charisse Y. (Luther) Green and Patricia Adams. Aunts: Eddie Jean Leak, Margarine Adams, and Rosa Lee Montgomery. There are many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. The family would like to also recognize the many great friends that shared times with Michael at the Con-Ivie Gardens Apartments that meant so much.
A military honor private burial will be set for a later date.
Arrangements are under the trusted direction of A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076. 501-982-3400.
