Jean Sherron Kincaid, age 84

Jean Sherron Kincaid, age 84, of North Little Rock, Arkansas went peacefully to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.  She was born in Gurdon, Arkansas on September 30, 1938, to the late Clarence Hart and Gladys Wilbanks-Hart.

Jean was the secretary at Cedar Heights Baptist Church in North Little Rock for around 18 years. She loved her family and her church family deeply and will be missed by all that knew her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Gladys Hart, her loving husband, E. Farish Kincaid, siblings Vernerd Hart, Wanda Haynie, Bobbie McKinnon, Mary Jenckes, James Hart, Bill Hart, and her best friend Naomia Phillips.

Jean is survived by her two daughters Karen Kincaid, and Debra Pruss, son-in-law Bo Pruss, three grandchildren, Matthew Pruss (Lindsey), Austin Pruss, and Lynleigh Pruss, and great granddaughter Emily Pruss, one brother Robert Hart (Patsy), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

A family-hosted celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 11:00 am at Cedar Heights Baptist Church, 14510 Cedar Heights Road in North Little Rock. The service will be officiated by Dr. Chad Meeks, Pastor Charlie Winters, John Winters. Following the service, visitation will be held in the church gym.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cedar Heights Baptist Church Building Fund.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Baptist Health PACE and all her loving caregivers. Without their help, it would have been impossible to keep Mom at home where she could be surrounded by her loving family.

    It was an honor to know and work with Ms. Jean and her thoughtful, loving family. What a wonderful legacy to honor her are her children and grandchildren. Thank you, Jesus, for the life of inspiration, devotion and love of Ms. Jean.
