Douglas Scott “WAGON” Hill, age 60, of El Dorado passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023 after a year-long battle with cancer and lung disease. He was born August 6, 1962 to Thad and Melba Hill in El Dorado, Arkansas.
A carpenter by trade, Scott’s heart was for the outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting. Scott was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Thad Wesley and JoAnn Hill; his mother Melba Lee, and both sets of his grandparents.
Those left to cherish Scott’s memory and rugged since of humor include: a daughter, Amanda Nicole Smith; two brothers, Mike Hill (Mary) and Russ Hill; two sisters, Kristi Misenheimer (Gary) and Lorrie Moudy (Billy Bob); a host of nieces and nephews; Extended family-friends: Jason Kitchens and Terri, Randy Kitchens, Sandy Kitchens, Robert Adair, and very best friend and fishing buddy, Jeff Barnette and his son, Lance.
The family would like to extend thanks to Courtyard Health and Rehabilitation facility and great staff.
A Memorial fish fry will be held at a later date for family and friends.
