
Genell Casey, 86 of Sherwood Arkansas went to be with the Lord July 16, 2023. Born January 20, 1937 in Lambert Mississippi to parents: Rholand H. Dunn and Lizzie Aldy.
She was a member of North View Missionary Baptist Church. Hobbies include quilting, sewing, embroidery, painting, water colors, reading and gardening.
Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James E. Casey Jr., brother Buddy Shovan, sister Lula Mae Sowell and granddaughter Casey Lynn Archer (Cox).
Survived by sons: James Casey (Renee), Ray Casey (Ruth), daughters: Becky Boles (Steve), Vicky Cox (Danny), Jan Pope (Brett), brother Eugene Dunn (Jolene), sisters Dorothy Green (Howard), Ann Hester (Marvin), Debbie Schubert, eleven grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at North View Missionary Baptist Church at 6801 J.F.K. Blvd. in North Little Rock, Wednesday, July 26 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to her church are appreciated.

Mom Casey was a special lady. I grew up with her kids. She loved her family and her church family. Heaven gained a special angel.

Mimi had such a beautiful soul. I will always remember her Christmas parties and going to her and Papaws house to climb her pecan tree. She always altered my cheer uniforms for me.
