Joseph D. Johnson, age 70, of Lonoke, Arkansas passed away July 28, 2023. Joe was born in Nashville, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents Royce and Bettye Young.

Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle (UJ).

Joe is survived by his wife, Diane (Settle) Johnson; children, Robert Thornton (Tina), Joseph Johnson, Jr. (Sandy), and Kaci Pannell; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Steve Johnson, Patrice Griggs, Brian Johnson (Bridget), and Tamara Lean (Martin); and in-laws, Thad and Ruth Gray. Joe also leaves behind nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.

Joe retired last year after a long career as a professional truck driver.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
