Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Betty Jean Armstrong, 90, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on August 13, 2023.  She was born on March 12, 1933, in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Otha J. and Dorinda Walker.  In August, 1972, Betty lost her husband and the father of her four sons, Gene Graves.  Betty was a positive, loyal, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Betty was devoted to her loving God, Jehovah and his son, Jesus Christ.  She delighted to tell everyone she met about Jehovah’s love, and His purpose for the earth and mankind.  She shared her faith up until the day of her death.

Betty is survived by her husband, Ray Armstrong, and her children:  Harold “Sonny” Graves (Deborah), of Mountain View, Arkansas, Howard Graves (Amy), of Houston, Texas, James Graves (Beth, deceased), of Mountain View, Arkansas, and Tony Graves (Debbie), of North Little Rock, Arkansas.  She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Betty graduated from North Little Rock High School.  She later worked as a bookkeeper and tax preparer, showcasing her meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.

In her free time, Betty enjoyed sewing beautiful clothes for both her family and herself.  It was a hobby she excelled at and enjoyed sharing with her family.

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 2 pm, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, on 230 Smokey Lane, North Little Rock, Arkansas.  The services will also be provided on ZOOM to those unable to attend in person.

Betty will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  Her positive spirit, loyalty and devotion to her Creator, family and friends will be forever remembered.

    I’m forever grateful to Jehovah for using her to teach me about Him and his son Jesus Christ. We will miss her as we patiently wait for her resurrection. We Love You all Forever and will continue to pray in your behalf for comfort and endurance.

    Shauna said it best “what a beautiful legacy she has in her family” I loved Betty so much and will certainly miss her, can’t wait for the times when we will all be together forever on this paradise earth living as Jehovah God intended us to live.     I have had the pleasure of knowing Betty and Ray for some time now. I had the wonderful opportunity of sister Armstrong studying with me before being baptized, I have always loved them dearly. Sister Armstrong was such a loving sister and always there for so many of us. I will truly miss her as so many of us will. But, what a comfort knowing that day is soon, we will be with her along with her loving husband Ray and her son’s she loved so dearly. My thoughts and my prayers are with you all Love you
