David never met a stranger. He had a heart of gold. If you called in need, he would stop what he was doing and head your way. He loved the outdoors. His family was his world. As a teen, he started out with the city of Jacksonville, AR, went to Hiwasse Manufacturing in Jacksonville, AR, then went on to Southern Coating & Name Plate in Sherwood until he was considered disabled. He kept himself busy even though he was disabled. He worked from home on small engines. He was known as the lawnmower man. He charged little to nothing. He just wanted something to do. David was a man of God. A member of Covenant of Life Church in Conway AR for many years then joined up with RAD Church in Jacksonville, AR.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life on Saturday July 20, 2024 at 2:00 at Saltillo Heights Baptist Church in Conway on the corner of Clinton Rd & Grand Trunk Rd. We will be serving food. Come on out and share your memories of David.
