Howard Wayne Bookout, age 82, of Lonoke passed away on July 29, 2024. He was born on October 30, 1941 in Quinton, Oklahoma to the late Sherman and Lois Bookout.
Howard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, and brother.
Howard is preceded in death by his wife Martha Sue Bookout; children Leslie Ann Bookout (Stivers) Clifford Wayne Bookout; siblings Bill Bookout, Hazel Bookout, Ricky Bookout, Ronald Bookout and Bobby Jene Bookout, and grandson Dylan Bookout.
Howard leaves behind his daughter Shawna Kay (Jimmie) Goatcher; daughter in law Patricia L. Bookout; adopted daughter Lori Phillips; sister Sharon Burks; grandchildren Erica Denise Bookout, James N. Duncan, Jessica (Mike) Nicole Bookout Hackler, and Bradley Dewayne Bookout; Damien Sims; and great grandchild James Hunter Duncan.
Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 2:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
