Douglas Franklin Rapier, 68, of Hensley passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024. He was born September 15, 1955 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was the son of Eli Ray Rapier and Patricia Ann McIntosh.

Douglas was retired. He liked working on riding lawn mowers, tractors, and cars.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by Steve Rapier, Kevin Rapier, and Leon Rapier.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn Kay Rapier; daughters Pamela Rapier of Sheridan and Torina Powers of Little Rock; son Michael Rapier of Hensley; 6 grandchildren Shadeisha Rapier, Christian Rapier, Jacob Rapier, Cheyenne Rapier, Allyssa Rapier, and Tryvis Rapier.

A family-hosted memorial service will be held on September 28, 2024 at 11:00am at Orion Missionary Baptist Church; 3826 Stagecoach Road, Redfield, Arkansas 72132. The family will be gathering after to service for a meal at the church. Burial will take place at Orion Cemetery.

    Doug was always there to help anyone who needed help, He go out his way to come when you break down on the road somewhere.. He made sure his family was well taking care of. Never ask the family for nothing.
