I am so sorry for your loss
I am so sorry for your loss. Todd was one of the hardest working people I know, and he would do anything to help anyone. I know how much he loved his family and put you all first in everything he did. May he rest easy. I feel so fortunate to have known him.
I found him to be one of the most intellectually curious men that I have ever known, leading him to always have an interesting news article to share, an amazing anecdote to share that he heard watching a documentary on YouTube, or an amazing story to relay that he had recently picked up from any number of sources! He was great fun to visit with about all kinds of things, from the Razorbacks to the Titanic, to Aramaic which was Jesus’s native tongue, to motorcycles, cool cars, deer hunting, hiking, Arkansas weather, the newest movies to stream on Netflix and beyond.
Todd was one of the most intellectually curious men I knew, (1) always reading new articles/ books on a variety of subjects, (2) listening to the latest podcasts, (3) watching great documentaries on YouTube, (4) repeating amazing things from a myriad of sources! He was fun to visit with on a litany of things: (5) like the environment, and the redwoods!; (6) or, why the Bible was written in Aramaic, Jesus’s native tongue, as opposed to Biblical Hebrew, to other ends of the daily spectrum of life,(7) like what new series or movies I should stream on Netflix or otherwise. Regardless, he was a well-rounded, solid citizen, and a unique American treasure! That much at least, should be recognized amongst us all! God bless the man!
Judy, I am so very sorry to hear of Todd’s death. I can only imagine the heartache you feel as Todd was exactly two weeks older than my first child, Ernie. I feel sure they were in the same Sunday School class over the years at Immanuel. The above comments from Todd’s friends tell volumes about his character. I regret that I did not know him well but I do know you and as a mother of a son his age I mourn with you. I will pray for you as you go through this sad time of adjustment and knowing you as I do you will seek and receive God’s comfort and peace. Love to you and all your family.
Thank you Jason, he considered you a dear friend.
