Charles Leon Tucker Sr., age 87, of Des Arc died September 19, 2024 at the Des Arc Nursing & Rehab Center.
He was born December 24, 1936 in Cornerville, AR Lincoln County to the late Obed and Julia Tucker.
Leon received an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Sargent. He was retired from the United States Soil Conservation Service and of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Martha Sue Weatherford Tucker; one son Charles (Chuck) L. Tucker Jr. (Phyllis) of Conway, AR; one daughter Pam Whitacker (Kelly) of Kensett, AR; five grandchildren Nick Tucker (Alison), Kristoffer Franklin, Katie Ballard (Jody), Janice Morgan Wooten (Robert), Chase Tucker (Haley), and seven great-grandchildren; one sister Janice Brummett (Jerry) of Little Rock, AR; and one brother Phillip Tucker (Carol Lee) of Cornerville, AR.
A private service will be held to honor Leon’s life.

Prayers for the family thought a lot of Mr. Leon.
I worked with Leon for about six in the late eighties. He were a great supervisor and friend. He will be missed.
