Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Gail Marie Hutchison, age 69, of Cabot, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 22, 2025. She was born in Manila, Arkansas on July 8, 1956 to the late Roy Alvie Barnett and Phyllis Gayle Giles-Barnett.

Gail was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend to so many.  She is survived by her loving husband of more than 51 years Harold Hutchison, son Brandon Lee Hutchison (Tammie), granddaughter Madisson Hutchison (Gavin Giambalvo), sister Katrina Zigler, Brother Uncle Ricky, caregiver Bryant Whiley, special friend Margaret Lovell, and her beloved pet Max.

She was loved dearly by all who knew her and will be remembered most as “Gigi,” a name that carried warmth and love. Gigi lived a selfless life, always putting others before herself, and her strong faith in God guided her every step. We take comfort in knowing she is now walking hand in hand with our Lord and Savior, watching over us and walking beside us in our everyday lives.

A visitation will be held for family and friends on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville.

Funeral services will follow on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 12:00pm in the chapel with Rev. Mark Cobb Officiant. Entombment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville after the service.

As a last wish on behalf of Gail please feel free to donate to Arkansas Carti Cancer center: https://www.carti.com/foundation/donate-now/

We have sure supported one another through some times, and I wouldn’t take a moment back. I am sure sad we didn’t get a chance to say goodbye – it only felt fitting. Gail will forever have that place in my heart.

I’ll never forget the time when I was little and spending the night, Gail started to snore so loud that she woke me up, so I did what I’d do to Nana and plugged her nose… she shot up in that bed. She didn’t snore after that.

There were times the house would be quiet except the TV and out of no where it sounded like Nana had burst into tears. I’d run in to check on her with Papa running from the other direction. Nana would look at us annoyed while laughing so hard she’d be crying , waving us on saying “I’m on the phone with Gail.”

One year for Christmas when I was little, Gail and Harold got me this HUGE makeup case. I couldn’t wait to put it on even though I didn’t know what I was doing. I ended up looking like Mimi from the Drew Carey show.

Gail may have been my Nana’s friend for 50yrs, but she was my second Nana. The memories, laughter, and love will sustain us until we meet again.

Tanya, Gail and I still laughed at you Mimi when you splash her with the water in the swimming pool. Tanya get out of that pool, you and Gail said no don’t get out Mimi wants you. Thank You for being our other Granddaughter.
