James David “Jimmy” House, age 76, of Vilonia, Arkansas passed away on September 16, 2025 at the Central Arkansas Veterans Hospital in Little Rock. He was born in Searcy, Arkansas on July 5, 1949 to Billy and Alyce Marie House.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Bill House and Ronnie House, and his daughter Danielle Renee House.

He is survived by his wife and love of his life for over 44 years Donna House; two daughters Toni Edwards and Jamie Carter; five grandchildren Taylor Edwards, Jeremy Edwards, Jacob Stafford, Cameron Carter, and Dawson Carter; six great-grandchildren Emma, Garrett, Kaleb, Avery, Zayne, and Wailynn; his brother by choice Roger Mayes; along with a host of extended family and friends.

Jimmy honorably served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was the owner and operator of Jacksonville Radiator for 25 years. Jimmy was an avid fisherman and was often seen out on the water with a fishing pole in his hands. He was also an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville. The funeral service will follow on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 10:00am in the chapel. Burial to follow at Cypress Valley Cemetery on Stanley Road in Vilonia, Arkansas.

    Jimmy David was a wonderful man and great friend. He loved fishing and hunting and was always happy. He loved his wife Donna very much and he really enjoyed and loved all his family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Donna and family. I really enjoyed being around him. He will be missed by very many people and friends.

    I really enjoyed taking “Uncle” Jimmy fishing with his Nephew Tim. There was laughter all day and jokes all around. I pray for all of his family that the peace of Jesus gives them comfort.

    May your memories carry you through the hard times. Such a great friend to Mike and great support for my kids during their time when Mike was sick. Just one more example of the person he was.
