Brenda Rose Barnard, age 76, of Mayflower, Arkansas passed away on October 5, 2025. She was born on September 21, 1949 to her parents Clarence Nelson and Maggie Sinclair.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dewey Barnard, stepson Matt Barnard, and her faithful dog Bobo.
She is survived by her sons Michael Courson (Ashley) and David Courson (Bianca); stepdaughter Karli Blair (Tim); grandchildren Somer East, Joany Glaser, Bailey Butler, Lauren Courson, Destiny Courson, Taylor Land, Bella Blair, and Matti Blair; and nine great-grandchildren whom she loved deeply.
Brenda had a strong Christian faith and loved the Lord. She prayed for everyone. She loved birdwatching, horses, and dogs. Her family was the most special part of her life and meant everything to her. To know Brenda, was to love her, and if she knew you, she loved you.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Praying for all of you during this difficult time. Brenda was a sweetheart and will be greatly missed.
The little bit of interaction that I had with Brenda, mostly at church. She was always smiling with a positive attitude. You will be missed.
I can remember like it was yesterday. All of the visits, movies and tv shows watched, the laughs, hugs, and tears shared.. It’s something I will cherish for the rest of my life, I will miss you some much until we meet again. Tell papaw I love him and I love you so much.
