Connie G. Hensley, 77, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away surrounded by family on November 5, 2025. Known to many simply as “Nana,” Connie was a radiant soul who lit up every room she entered. Her laughter, her love for beauty, and her zest for life were contagious.

She found joy in traveling with friends, dancing at concerts, and soaking up the sun at the beach. Connie had a flair for the fabulous and a heart full of generosity. Her greatest passion was her family—she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren beyond measure, and they adored her right back.

Connie is survived by her loving family: Jeffrey Ray Watters, Nicholas “Nicky” Wayne Watters and his wife Kristen Watters, her brother Tracy L. DuBose, grandchildren Brooke, Austin, and Seth, and their mother Rhonda Watters, Teagan, and Dax, and great-grandchildren Briar, Brazen, and Hayden. She was preceded in death by Joel Glenn DuBose Sr. “Bud,” Eularuel DuBose, Joel Glenn DuBose Jr, and Larry J. DuBose.

A memorial service will be held on November 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 W Main, Jacksonville, AR 72067. Immediately following, we invite all who loved Connie to join us for a Celebration of Life at The Resort in Heber Springs, where stories, laughter, and memories will be shared in her honor.
