Phillip Carthel Ballard went to be with the Lord on November 7, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Ballard of 23 yrs, Mother and Father Carthel and Teddene Ballard, two brothers David and Jimmy Ballard. grandparents, aunts and uncles.
He is survived by one brother Tony, Ballard and wife, Angie, and one sister
Angie Gibbons and husband Dale, and a host of nieces and nephews that love him very much.
He is also survived by three aunts and one uncle, Doris Hill, Charlotte Hill, Wilma Perry and husband, Russell, along with a host of loving cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 1:00pm with the funeral service starting at 2:00pm at Searcy Assembly of God located at 101 Benton Ave, Searcy, AR 72143. Burial to follow at Sylvania Cemetery in Ward, Arkansas.

I love my brother and will miss him a lot. I am so thankful that I know he is with Jesus and healthier than he has ever been! 🙌🏻
Philip was a great guy. I knew Philip when we were in high school at Beebe in the mid 1970’s. We also attended church together for many years. He will be greatly missed. To his family, May God grant a peace and comfort that only He can provide. Rest in peace Philip until we meet again!

We send our deepest sympathy to the Ballard family in the passing of Phillip. Never was there a time that Phillip did not have a smile or handshake when he greeted you. We are blessed to have known Phillip and we know that he is now walking the streets of Glory with both hands raised and shouting Victory. Jesus has welcomed another child home.
