Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Edward “Eddie” Earl Ingersoll, age 64, of White Hall, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, in his home surrounded by family. He was born on 22nd of January, 1962, in Prescott, to Terrell and Olgia Ingersoll. Eddie had a well-known presence in the lives of those who knew him. He embodied kindness, humor, and compassion for his family and friends.

Eddie dedicated 26 years to his profession, forming meaningful connections with countless customers and friends. As a Route Salesman with Blue Bell Creameries, he may have delivered cold ice cream, but he brought warmth and sincerity to every interaction, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.

On March 27, 1987, he married the love of his life, Donna, and together they shared 38 wonderful years filled with laughter, adventure, and an unbreakable bond. An active member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Eddie found comfort in his faith and his church community, where he formed many lasting friendships that enriched his life.

Among his greatest joys in life was being a father to his son, Jeremy, and his daughter, Melanie. He took immense joy in his role as a grandfather to his cherished granddaughter, Maelyn Frost, and step-grandsons, Kesler and Sawyer Frost. His love for his family was evident in every moment spent together—whether sharing stories around the dinner table or enjoying the great outdoors through gardening, hunting, fishing, and practicing taxidermy in his earlier years. Eddie also had a deep appreciation for old Westerns and classic army movies, often spending evenings immersed in the stories of courage and adventure he loved so much.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Donna; his children, Jeremy Ingersoll (Ashley Fulks) and Melanie Frost (Brett); his granddaughter, Maelyn Frost; his step-grandsons, Kesler and Sawyer Frost; his siblings, Frankie Ingersoll (Kathy) and Patti Akins (Eddy); and several nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Terrell and Olgia Ingersoll; his uncle, Donald Ingersoll; and his niece, Mandy Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made through a GoFundMe account established in Eddie’s honor. These contributions will be used to create care packages for patients receiving chemotherapy treatments at UAMS—a cause that was especially dear to Eddie’s heart as he sought to give back in gratitude for the support he received during his own journey. https://gofund.me/4b47e33cc

Eddie’s legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to touch the lives of many, reflecting the love he shared throughout his life. His family will carry his memory with them always and will miss him dearly.

A memorial service to celebrate Eddie’s life will be held on March 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church with fellowship to follow located at 13112 Dollarway Rd White Hall, AR 71602.

I am so sorry to hear of Eddie’s passing. I worked with Eddie at the Borden Company in Texarkana. He ran an Ice Cream route for us before he started work at Blue Bell. He was a pleasure to know and work with. Always smiling and joking around. Prayers for Donna and the rest of his family.
