Wayne Arlon Guess Jr., affectionately known by many as “Dirt Man,” age 71, of Cabot, Arkansas, broke his earthly bonds to be with Jesus on March 14, 2026. Born in Little Rock on October 17, 1954, to Wayne A. Guess Sr. and Clara Rial, Arlon lived a life defined by his faith, his family, and his passions.
A dedicated dump truck driver and heavy equipment owner/operator, Arlon was a man of hard work and high spirits. He was a lover of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and was famously known as the life of any party. Above all, he loved to tell everyone about Jesus and found great joy in serving the Lord by playing his harmonicas.
Arlon was preceded in death by his father Wayne Guess Sr., mother Clara Rial, sister Pam Guess, stepfather Carl Rial, and his grandsons, Micah and Judah Atchison.
He leaves behind a large and loving family, including his wife of 31 years, Sandra; his son, Joshua Guess of Heber Springs; and his daughter, Jaime Levecchia (Dan) of Romance; Chris Atchison (Kaci) and Jody (Rhema) of Mexico.
His love for his children and grandchildren was unmatched. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Faith Atchison, Sam Atchison (Ariel), Lily Sims (Bradley), Joseph Atchison, Elijah Atchison, Noah Atchison, London Levecchia, Cruz Levecchia, and Rome Levecchia.
He is also survived by his stepmother Jennie Sue Guess and a host of extended family and friends too numerous to name.
The family expresses their sincere appreciation to Hospice Home Care of Searcy for their loving care provided to Arlon and the family. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to Hospice Home Care of Searcy in his memory.

There was only one Arlon. God knew the world needed a Arlon Guess and we are all better for knowing him. We loved playing with him in the band. God loves him, we love him and heaven is rejoicing to have him there.
RIP brother…
