James Warren Elam JR, 75, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away on April 15, 2026. He was born in Denver, Colorado on January 30, 1951, to James and Elaine Elam.

James honorably served in the Unites States Air Force, was a Redcoat Usher at Oaklawn and a member of the Elks Lodge. He also served as the First Vice President of Smith Barney Shearson. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.

James is preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers Gary Elam and Steven Elam.

James is Survived by his loving wife Melinda Freeman-Elam and his extended family and many friends.

There will be no services as per his request, but he would say “A Hui Hou” or “until we meet again”.
